Okay, so you’ve been seeing all sorts of social media posts and photos of this year’s race team…familiar faces proudly holding their participation medals high, smiling, and celebrating together. This year’s race team is pretty dang awesome, right?! Have you thought to yourself, “That looks like so much fun. I wonder if I could do that?!” Psst…yes! Yes, YOU can! Curious about racing your mountain bike? Maybe you’ve signed up for the Beti Bike Bash on October 1 and you’re wondering what to expect? Mark your calendar for “Racy Gossip” on Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 – 8:00 pm at 1350 Distilling (520 E Pikes Peak Ave). This will be a fun evening to ask a panel of WMBA racers about their experiences – the good, the bad, and the ugly. This event is geared for never-ever and very-new-to-racing WMBA members. No need to RSVP. 1350 Distilling has delicious cocktails – come any time after 6:00 to get a beverage from the bar. We’ll start in their side room around 6:30.
